Design a new feature that is beneficial to users.
CHALLENGE
Design a new feature/flow for Glassdoor that enhances the current experience and is beneficial to users.
OPPORTUNITY
Feeling unprepared for an interview is a major problem for job seekers. Glassdoor strives to be the most trusted and transparent place for people to search for jobs and research companies. It is unique from its competitors because it offers information about salary, interview questions, CEO approval ratings, and company reviews. Job seekers use this information to educate themselves when they are applying to jobs or preparing for interviews.
SOLUTION
A 'Test Yourself' feature that asks real interview questions that are catered to the user based on the job and location they are searching for. This new feature also includes the option for recording and sharing to invite feedback from others and to self-evaluate their own responses.

KEY FEATURES
DASHBOARD
A newly redesigned user dashboard that is intuitive and attuned to the job search, location, and salary range that the user inputs during the set up of their user profile.
Profile information is used to provide the user catered content throughout their dashboard.
Job suggestions based on the most recent job search.
Options to complete the user profile are at the top.
Company and job listings based on recent searches.
CATERED QUESTIONS
This 'Test Yourself' feature utilizes real interview questions that have been submitted by other Glassdoor users who have interviewed for the same job interest.
Verification of job title and location to ensure interview questions correspond with the job the user is wanting to apply for.
The option to edit profile is available if the job interest or location is incorrect.
After reviewing the information to make sure it's correct, clicking start will begin the flow of questions.
RECORDING
Users have the option to record themselves using video or audio during the 'Test Yourself' flow. This is so they can see or hear themselves and practice their interviewing skills. At the end of test, they have the option to save or edit their recordings and share with family, friends and trusted coworkers for more critique and feedback.
